Tidy Way to Charge Your Phone

Socket deer
This adorable wall socket cover provides a spot to park your phone while it's charging. The antlers are rubber, so they'll grip the phone, plus there's more antler space for draping the cord. And they come in three deer varieties!!!

There's another model to cover a light switch. Those antlers would be a great spot to hang your keys, your shopping tote and maybe a lightweight handbag. You might need more than one! I have no idea where you can buy this, but it's still completely adorable.

You can see a few more pictures on the Japanese design company, Nendo's, website. They design all kinds of high-concept, high-beauty housewares.

  1. Those are awesome !!! Just had a picture go through my head though. Just to give you a clue, picture a toddler going headlong in to one of those. Mebbe it would be better to install one of those in the kitchen, above the counter, not near the floor. Great idea though!

  3. Hi, Biggles!
Well, they are rubber, but, yeah, you could probably hurt yourself on them, especially if you are very young. And if you’re a bit older (ahem), you probably don’t want to reach all the way down to the floor anyway, so counter height is more like it.
Horns on your cover plate, why not flies on your ears? Have you seen these?
